Just back from 12 mile run. Good thinking time while running. Much better than staring at empty drawing board! Need to get ideas down on paper now, quickly before I forget them again !

Anybody else having problems accomadating the flock of sheep as well as everything else in the designs? If it was pigs, at least you could let them run in the trees!

Like Paul, (see his blog) have been considering what to do with the site re drainage / run off. Draining surface water from the South lawn area into a swale may be a solution. The 'stream' may be too dry to have as a permanent water feature but would be very useful as a means of diverting water away from the house during storms.

This week have added additional sketch view of house to sketch design 4.

Have played with adding noise to bucket filled colour in photoshop to achieve texture in surfaces.

Spent some time last week painting swatches with watercolour, scanning them and then colouring sketches in photoshop with them. Mixed results. Sketches tend to end up looking like illustrations in a book. Think I prefer hand colouring, then scanning. Can get some interesting textures however.

Well this is it! The beginning of our final year. The culmination of four years at Hadlow / Avery Hill. Almost there, yet with so much still to do and achieve! Feeling somewhat apprehensive at present.
